On Tuesday 3rd December, we hosted All Abilities Events at iFLY Manchester, Milton Keynes and Basingstoke for National Disability Day 2019. We invited BBC Journalist Mohammed Salim Patel along to our event in Manchester so he could experience Indoor Skydiving.
We were delighted to hold a STEM showcase evening at iFLY Manchester on Monday 28th September.
Last year, my mother-in-law had expressed a desire on how she wanted to celebrate her 90th birthday on 2nd of April this year. "I don't want to spend my birthday with old people," she said and had mentioned to relatives how she always fancied doing a skydive.
I remember the first time I stepped into a wind tunnel, my heart was racing and my body was tense but the amazing feeling of adrenaline, mixed with a freedom like no other soon took over.
It’s a momentous day for us at Airkix as we officially become part of iFLY, the world’s biggest brand for indoor Skydiving. Whilst iFLY has been our parent company for the past couple of years, helping us to feel very much part of the family, that’s not quite the same as wearing the badge.
