However, this magical moment is underpinned by decades of precise British engineering, rigorous testing, and a foundational partnership with SkyVenture, a pioneer in vertical wind tunnel technology.

As indoor skydiving evolved from a training tool into the exciting global sport we realise today, it required more than passion—it needed a governing organisation to guide its rapid growth and ensure consistency. That essential role is fulfilled by the International Bodyflight Association (IBA), an organisation dedicated to advancing the sport.

What began as a mere training aid for skydivers has rapidly evolved into a dynamic, global competitive sport. Indoor skydiving, often referred to as bodyflight, has fundamentally transformed athlete training, competition, and the boundaries of human flight.
