This role offers a competitive hourly rate, private healthcare, generous commission, free flight time, staff discount structure & pension.
Prior experience of Indoor (or outdoor) Skydiving is not a pre-requisite and all necessary training will be provided.
You'll be working for the undisputed world leader in indoor skydiving, as part of a close-knit team of outgoing & friendly staff who help make iFLY the world-class leisure experience we have become.
You will be a vital member of iFLY’s operational and experiential team, as you lead and guide our customers through their flight experience, from start to finish.
Some experience in the leisure sector is preferred, although we would also be excited to speak with you if you can demonstrate that you’ve a genuine love of people and believe you have all the characteristics (and more!) to host a safe, memorable and spectacular experience.
If you're ready to make the dream of flying a reality for everyone, have a 'whatever it takes' work ethic and want a career making people smile, then you're our kind of person and you should get in touch.
We are currently looking for Instructors at our London, Manchester, Basingstoke and Milton Keynes sites.
We’re proud that our team boasts an unbelievable variety of personalities, nationalities, characters and cultures and we’re a fully inclusive employer. That’s what makes our team so strong.
The things all our Instructors have in common are:
In a nutshell, the role involves looking after our customers from the moment they arrive on site, to the moment they leave – ensuring you and your personality provides them with nothing but the most incredible memories of their day out at iFLY.
To us, and to each successful candidate, every customer is a celebrity.
There will naturally be a significant amount of time spent in our state-of-the-art flight chamber(s) and the role does involve working shifts in line with the 7 day-a-week operation.
There will also be a mandatory qualifying period (before you start your Instructor Training) performing customer service duties. This is to allow you to familiarise yourself with the general operation of the business, as you get to know our incredible customers and your team-mates.
You will be responsible for safety briefings, equipment checks, ‘in-air’ customer supervision, debriefs and wind speed controlling. You will also be required to undertake some Reception / Front Desk / Meet and Greet functions as part of the role. Essentially, you’ll be doing whatever it takes to ensure the smooth running of the customer’s visit and their absolute satisfaction.
Finally, we expect all our team mates to keep our working environment respectful, lively, energetic and fun, because heading to work each day should be nothing but a good thing.
